4:40 pm - Hello!

I'm about to graduate from Witt and stumbled across this community while writing (er... procrastinating) my last paper ever (its for Dr. Kaiser in the religion department, anyone know her?).

Just wanted to say hi!

hey yall! my name's danielle (most of the people down here call me dani) and im from virginia beach. i attend the math and science academy at ocean lakes high school. im going to major in biology and minor in biochem/microbio (i believe.) im taking biochem right now and i love it! my anatomy teacher is hilarious! if you've seen the show house, hes exactly like dr house. my friend (who wants to be a doctor is most likely attending uva) and i watch house together every week and try to guess the diagnosis. usually were correct which is really neat. my family and i are all from ohio but we moved here because of military. i live 10-15 minutes from the beach and about half an hour from north carolina. ive never ever been to a high school party like in the movies. most of my friends are magnet kids and our parties consist of: movie nights, playing with fire, putting mentos in diet pepsi and watching it explode, 80s dance parties, army men, etc. i have no idea what to expect of college. i hope people still have fun like we do here. the academy is like a school within a school. i cant wait to come to school at wittenberg! the campus is gorgeous and all the people i met there were all wonderful and awesome. i hope its a million times as much fun as my high school experience has been.

(Students Praying for Awakening and Revival on Campus)

Hello everyone!! Well, I’m honored to inform you that our God has immeasurable power.

On November 4th -5th at Liberty Barn Church (7080 Olentangy River Road Delaware, OH 43015), college students from all over Ohio are meeting to pray and fast for God to intervene in Ohio and cause an awakening. Registration begins at 8:00PM on the 4th, Things will get going with some worship and a speaker at 9:00PM. On Saturday, up by 9AM with more worship, prayer, fellowship, etc and out of the church at 9PM that night. Leaving early or coming late? Come and go as necessary.

I would like to remind us all that this is for ALL students in Ohio who believe in and follow Jesus, and would like to pray for His Spirit to sweep across Ohio and on our campuses with revival and awakening! So please let friends at other campuses know about it and let the word spread like wildfire. If you'd like pre-made flyers to hang up on your campuses or in your area, email ohiosparc@yahoo.com

Our responsibility lies only in providing the opportunity- paving the way- for people to come. We are to be like John the Baptist, making way for the King to move. Remember that our time is now severely limited, as we now only have about a month to get word to the whole state. This is the time in which we must rise to the occasion, it is clutch time- crunch time. 'The time for talk and half measures is over,' as Maximus (Gladiator) would put it.

As if I need to underline it, but prayer is our most valuable weapon, so let's use it for all it's worth!

Can you feel it? God is moving- the time is now, our roles are crucial. Let's rock and roll!!!!

Sis in JC,
Leanne Wilson

If you have any questions, please email sparcohio@yahoo.com or go to ohiosparc.blogspot.com!

Joel 1:14-15 “14Announce a time of fasting; call the people together for a solemn meeting. Bring the leaders and all the people into the Temple of the LORD your God, and cry out to him there. 15The day of the LORD is on the way, the day when destruction comes from the Almighty. How terrible that day will be!”

10:05 pm - Hola

Hey, I'm Hannah Johnson and I'm coming to Witt in the fall from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I graduated a year early from Wauwatosa East and I'm looking to major in Biochemistry/Molecular biology (I'm pre-med) and minor in both dance and East Asian studies.

I'm living in Myers (whoo whooo!!!), room 503 with Kelsey Simons. I can't wait to get to school! It's really going to be fun.

I don't have anything else really interesting to say, but I hope more people join. :)

9:55 am - Introduction

My sister likes to eat mah head. Woo.

My name is Allie Stillwell and I'm starting at Wittenberg this fall. I've already done three semesters of college at Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont, but was very unhappy there, so I took a term off and then transferred to Wittenberg. After visiting, I fell in love with the campus and the city around it, so I'm really looking forward to attending! I'll hopefully be double majoring in East Asian Studies and History with a minor in Japanese language.

As people join, please introduce yourselves so we can have a thriving community where everyone knows everyone. If you have a picture, it would be great if you could include that in your post too so we can start matching faces with names. I look forward to seeing all of you this fall :D!
